FOR GENERAL DISCIPLINES: EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Essential for Medical Candidates:
(i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the said Act); and
(ii) a post graduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine) or MS (Master of Surgery) or a recognised qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allied discipline.
(iii) For Dentistry: A post graduate qualification viz. Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allied discipline.
Essential for Non-Medical Candidates:
(i) A Postgraduate qualification i.e. Masters Degree in the concerned subject or allied discipline and
(ii) A Doctorate degree from a recognised University in the respective subject or allied discipline.
Note: The respective subject or allied discipline should be as in the Table-I of Schedule I of the Medical Council of India-“Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations, 1998.”
(i) For the candidates possessing Doctor of Medicine (MD) / Masters of Surgery (MS)from Medical Council of India recognized medical colleges: Three years teaching experience in the subject as Resident or Registrar or Demonstrator or Tutor in a recognized medical college either during the post-graduate course or after obtaining the postgraduate degree in the subject.
(ii) For the candidates possessing Diplomat of National Board (DNB) qualification from Medical Council of India recognized medical colleges or
central institutes where the no Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Master of Surgery (MS) course running:
a) Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized medical college either during the Diplomat of National Board (DNB) course or after possessing Diplomat of National Board (DNB) qualification.
b) The concerned candidate would also require one year of additional teaching or research experience in the concerned subject in a recognized medical college after obtaining Diplomat of National Board (DNB) qualification.
iii) For candidates possessing Diplomat of National Board (DNB) qualification from Medical Council of India (MCI) recognized medical colleges or central institutes where there are Doctor of Medicine (MD)/ Master of Surgery (MS) course running:
Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized medical college either during the Diplomat of National Board (DNB) course or after obtaining Diplomat of National Board (DNB) qualification.
iv) For the candidates possessing Diplomat of National Board (DNB)qualification from centres other than of Medical Council of India (MCI) recognized medical colleges or central institutes:
a) Three years teaching experience in the subject either during the Diplomat of National Board (DNB)course or after possessing Diplomat of National Board (DNB)qualification.
b) The concerned candidate would require two years additional teaching experience as Sr. Resident or Research Associate (CSIR) in a Medical Council of India (MCI) recognized medical college or central institute.
v) ‘Research Experience’:
a) For the candidates obtaining Diplomat of National Board (DNB)qualification from centres other than Medical Council of India (MCI) recognized medical colleges or central institutes, the concerned candidate should have minimum two publications (accepted or published) in the index journal (National/International as first or second author).
b) In case the concerned candidate does not have the required publication, he must have a total of three years teaching experience in a recognized college or central institute after possessing Diplomat of National Board (DNB) qualification.
A. EMOLUMENTS AND PERQUISITES:
In addition to Pay, they will also be eligible for DA, NPA, HRA and Transport Allowance as per rules in force from time to time.

How to Apply: -
(i) Candidates must apply online through URL: http://central.esicmchsnr.co.in/applicationform1.aspx. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. Applications received through any other mode will not be accepted and will be summarily rejected.
(ii) After submitting the online application, the candidates are required to take print out of the finally submitted online application and retain the same with them.
(iii) Candidates are not required to submit to ESIC either by post or by hand the printouts of their online applications or any other document.
(iv) A candidate should submit only one application for a particular specialty or post in a particular institution. If a candidate wants to apply for more than one specialty or more than one post in an institution or more than one institution, he/she should submit separate Online Application for different specialties or different posts or different institutions. However, if somehow, he/she submits multiple online applications for a particular specialty or post in a particular institution, then he/she must ensure that online application with the higher “Application No.” is complete in all respects including fee. The applicants, who submit multiple online applications, should note that only the online application with higher “Application No.” shall be entertained by the ESIC and fee paid against one “Application No.” shall not be adjusted against any other “Application No.”.
(v) Application once submitted cannot be modified, hence utmost care should be taken to furnish the correct details before submitting the online application.
(vi) Candidates are required to keep active the Email-ID and the Mobile Number during the currency of this recruitment process.
(vii) ESIC will send Interview Letters at the registered email ID of candidates.
(viii) Before applying online, the candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/her recent photograph and signature for uploading. The scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format only and the digital size of each file i.e. scanned photograph and signature must be below 500kb.
(ix) Candidate should first scan their photograph and signature, ensuring that both the photograph and signature are as per the prescribed specifications. If the size of the file is 500 kb then adjust the settings of the scanner (or resize the image).
(x) Candidates are advised in their own interest to apply online much before the closing date and not wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/inability/failure to log on etc.
(xi) Closing date for receipt of online applications is 02.04.2018 (up to 5.00 PM).
