About LPU NEST 2024

Lovely Professional University is actively engaged in conducting national entrance along with the Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) for taking admission in 150+ programmes. LPUNEST is conducted by Lovely Professional University (LPU). Some of the major courses offered by Lovely Professional University include B.Tech ., Law, Agriculture, Design, Hotel Management, and MBA . Almost 75,000 students appear in the LPUNEST exam every year.

The university has also introduced a new course, B.Tech in Robotics and Automation, and a Diploma in Library Science and Information from the upcoming academic session. Candidates securing equal to or more than the cutoff marks for LPUNEST 2024 will be able to take part in the counselling process for LPUNEST 2024. LPU NEST 2024 Eligibility Criteria

LPU NEST B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Indian citizens can apply for LPUNEST B.Tech course

Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have passed or appearing in Class 12 (10+2 scheme) Board examination from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)/ Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE)/ State Board/ other councils, institution, college, etc. recognized by CBSE, New Delhi or other concerned apex bodies will fulfill the LPUNEST 2024 B.Tech eligibility criteria

Marks required : Candidates have to secure a minimum aggregate of 60 percent in 10+2 or equivalent exam (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) provided they have qualified LPUNEST (B.Tech.)/ JEE Main.

Subjects required:

For Biotechnology, Food Technology, Biomedical Engineering: Physics, Chemistry, English and Maths/ Biology/ Biotechnology

The subjects required for Chemical Engineering and Petroleum include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English

LPU NEST Law Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for LPUNEST Law 2024 for For LL.B. mention that the candidates must have passed graduation in any stream.

For LL.M., candidates have to pass LL.B with an aggregate of 60 per cent in LL.B, along with a valid score in LPUNEST (LAW).

LPU NEST Design Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens in order to be eligible to apply for LPUNEST (Design)

Qualifying Examination: Candidates should have passed or appeared in class 12 board exam from CBSE/ Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE)/ State Board/ other Council, Institution, college, etc. that is recognised by Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi or other apex bodies.

Required marks: Candidates must have secured an aggregate of 60 percent in 10+2 (with English). Candidates with 70 percent or more in class 12 (10+2 scheme) will be exempted from appearing in LPUNEST and/ or UCEED. Such candidates are eligible to apply directly for admission.

LPU NEST Hotel Management Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of LPUNEST 2024 : Hotel Management

Nationality: Only Indian citizens can apply for LPUNEST (Hotel Management)

Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have passed class 12 board exam (10+2 scheme) with aggregate 50% subject to qualifying LPUNEST (Hotel Management). Candidates must have English in 10+2 to be eligible for LPUNEST (Hotel Management). Candidates having secured 70% or above in class 12 exam are exempted from appearing in the entrance exam and may directly apply for admission.

LPU NEST M.B.A Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of LPUNEST MBA 2024

Nationality : Only Indian citizens

Qualifying Examination : Candidates must have completed or appearing in the final semester of bachelor’s degree with minimum aggregate of 55 per cent from university, institution, college etc. recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC). Candidate must have completed Completed Chartered Accountancy (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Completed Company Secretary (CS) from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI).

The application form for LPUNEST 2024 by Lovely Professional University (LPU) was released on January 26, 2024. Candidates can fill out the application form through online mode. The steps to apply online for LPUNEST 2024 are given below.

1st Step: Registration Candidates can register by entering details such as name, email ID, gender, and valid mobile number after which registration ID will be generated and sent to their registered email ID.

2nd Step: Payment of Application Fees – Having successfully registered for the exam, candidates will need to pay the requisite fee. Payment of fee can be made online or offline as shown below

3rd Step: Filling of Online Application Form – Candidates must fill all required details in the online application form after payment of the fee including candidates’ personal, academic, and contact information. Candidates should scrutinize all details provided in the application form as incomplete form or incorrect information will be rejected.

4th Step: Uploading of Scanned Documents – After filling the details in the application form, candidates will need to upload scanned copies of the photograph, birth certificate/ Aadhaar card, and certificate of the qualifying exam as per the requirements mandated by the university.

5th Step: Submission of Application Form – After successfully uploading the required documents, candidates have to submit the application form of LPUNEST 2024. Candidates must print a copy of the filled application form for future reference.

LPUNEST 2024 admit card will be issued to candidates who have booked their slots for the exam. Candidates will be able to download the online admit card immediately after booking their slots. The admit card of LPUNEST 2024 will contain candidates’ information including name, course, exam venue, date and time, and exam day guidelines. Candidates failing to produce the admit card on the day of the exam will not be allowed to appear in the examination.

Steps to download LPUNEST Admit Card 2024:

  • Book slots as per preference
  • Admit card will be generated immediately after slot booking
  • Check to admit card for the discrepancy
  • Download and print a copy of admit card

Candidates who will apply for LPUNEST 2024 will be able to book slots to appear in the exam as per their preference. The online slot booking process for LPUNEST 2024 started on February 3, 2024. Candidates must book slots to appear in the exam failing which admit cards will not be issued to such candidates. The last date to book the slot is February 15, 2024. Slots will be provided to candidates on a first-come,first-serve basis. Candidates should book the slots well in advance to avoid any last-minute rush.

LPUNEST 2024 results will be displayed within 48 working hours of the exam. The result will be declared individually for each phase of the exam. Results for LPUNEST 2024 phase 2 will be declared within 3 working days of conclusion of LPUNEST exam.  LPUNEST 2024 results will provide the scores secured by candidates in the exam on the basis of which they will be allotted ranks. Based on these ranks, candidates will be called to participate in the counselling process.

Mode of Counselling: Online

The counselling of LPUNEST 2024 for each phase of the exam is conducted in three rounds in online mode. For each round, seats will be allotted separately. Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of rank and preferred course and/ or programme. After LPUNEST 2024 seat allotment, selected candidates must download the allotment letter and pay an initial fee of Rs. 15,000 to confirm the seats allocated to them.

At this stage, candidates will need to fill the admission form and upload requisite documents. Documents submitted along with the admission form will need to be verified on the dates specified by the conducting body as well as deposit the balance fee.
